The Rocket Boost ability can now be used inside and isn't restricted by areas that do not permit vehicles. It cannot be used in combat or in Warzones.

If they are going to make a game, make a game that's an RPG, so as to end the trilogy. Don't screw around with an MMO and force everyone online. It's stupid and removes the sense of gameplay we've gotten so far.

Then do the MMO after to get all us dorks involved.

This makes the game an insta-fail for me. Especially since it means the content is limited to as long as the game is successful rather than being something you can always go back to, and in the next three years we are going to see this go the same way as most other MMOs -- obscurity.[/div]

I ran into that exact problem on Epic Quests in Rift Mishtram, angered me to no end. While the game was far from "dead" at the time, there's such a long power curve present in many MMO's that it can be hard to get people to back-run content, which means hours of hunting in LFG/server chat until you find enough people to hopefully rag-tag your way to victory. There was one (epic) quest I was attempting to find a group for over the course of around two weeks, when I finally got a group together, we were a total of three tanks and two DPS. Basically just DPS-raced while our tanks got slaughtered. Ran into that problem of "not enough people" at pretty much every turn after the game dropped down in popularity, which was really kind of a bummer. I was one of the first people to really run Epic Quests for Rift, have a ton of server firsts and the like from doing them, but once the game was out for a couple months, could just never find anybody to run anything besides the top-tier stuff, since that's all you could do to progress. Backtracking was pointless.

One of the major reasons why I like Guild Wars 2 so much, the leveling curve is very...flat, and you're always scaled down to the level of the area you are in. So backrunning content is actually viable for furthering your character, and isn't a one-shot snorefest. Pile on that there isn't a Holy Trinity and it all should hopefully mean that getting people together to do something big, won't be a giant pain. Even during times of lower activity, or if the game flatlines somewhat.

That's my hope for how it works out anyway.
