PC Gaming vs Console Gaming - Page 2

If you can still efficiently play a game, like Dragon Age Origins, with just a game pad...that means they are efficient. I haven't had any sticky control problems with the game at all on my PS3.

I agree that if it can still be played effectively then control isn't a big issue, but after getting used to Default M & KB set up for shooters, I can no longer stand playing them on consoles.
Same goes for RTS' naturally

I hate the fact that my friends pester me about being a PC gamer when I should "get a 360." Personally, I find that for FPSs, RPGs and simulators the PC has better controls. For racing games, I see no reason to prefer using a keyboard, which is why I purchased a wireless 360 controller

I agree. People may say "you paid £350 for your computer and I payed £170 for my Xbox which can play more games," but they still have a PC which can't do simple tasks nearly as fast as mine. Game price, however, is definitely on the PC side here in the UK; games tend to be between £5 and £10 dearer on the 360 and PS3, Wii games vary too much to say. The one thing that I do find annoying about being a PC gamer is that new games come out that have daunting system requirements (take DiRT 2, for example; recommended CPU is a Core i7 or a Phenom II). This would be better if it wasn't for the fact that I am 14 and my only "income" is the £12 per month from my parents. PC parts are so expensive if you want to play games at max settings (which I do).

PC gaming is better in every aspect, too tired to go into details, people who say otherwise are stupid -- but, too tired to go into details..

We've already done a thread about how people thought it was cheaper but it didnt turn out to be cheaper. When things like stereo systems and tv's were thrown in the mix then it became cheaper, but not cheaper than just a console or two.

I always just sell my parts and then buy parts from small online shops around the country, they're always so so much cheaper. In 07 I upgraded from a 7300gt to a 8800gts and only lost round 60nzd, and I'm still using the 8800gts with fine framerates as well..
