hey I am just curious. Does anyone know any good games free mmorpg or, buy it from a store?
My computer is relatively old, but not deadbeat old and new games are stuff that my computer can probably run on low settings. Any recommendations? I was also thinking about getting NFS: Pro Street and burnout: paradise city when it comes out.

a 6600gt Nivia card,
2 Gigs ram
Dual core amd 2ghz processor. ...
and a logitech game pad. lol

Ive done quite a bit of searcihng up, but i wanna here what people think. Any suggestions?

Lol and RPG is a Role-Playing Game, not a racing game, like NFS and Burnout, like you've listed up there.


Good RPG's are like...Hellgate London, or Diablo 2

You have a fairly good system... Diablo 2 can run on 10 year old computers... it can easily run on yours.

As is my understanding, Hellgate London is a steaming pile of crap (although it has a 71 on metacritic..but I know some gamers have nothing but disdain for it).
Mythos is coming out this year sometime, the beta is currently up..looks pretty good.
Guild Wars is supposedly the best MMORPG without a monthly fee, but its out on retail, so..yeah.
Also, Hellgate London is recent, Diablo is old.

And your system seems pretty good, only thing that really needs upgrading is the video card, but that can definitely run older games, just not new/graphically intense stuff like Bioshock, at least not too well (you've got the minimum required card for that).

Yeah, I heard Hellgate London was really bad, but I didn't really understand why.

My friend is pretty addicted to it, and he got me playing it too, and I enjoy it alot.

But RPG's, I play WoW now, just on private servers lol (so its free)

well i have guild wars already..got bored of it lol.
Im switching my video card to its (what was supposed to bein the beginning) the 7600 gt which...comparebly is much more powerful than the 6600 lol.

I only had the 6600 because i had an older monitor that wasn't dvi compatible...so i had to switch the older card for mine. It came with an adaptber..but..my computer is in a place...where it won't fit.. but anyway.

Im switching my 6600 gt for my 7600gt. and then in the future a complete upgrade with the new 200 series .


but about the WoW private servers..what is it like?

Just buy the actually WoW, lol.
