I had GH3 for PC and it was wicked. The Guitar worked perfect and everything played flawlessly. I purchased a PS3 as well as RockBand and well, you know what happened next. GH3 was not as good so I decided to sell it to a friend of mine.

Now, the game works perfect, and it works with the keyboard and the mouse. However, the Guitar is not working for him.

I was wondering if anyone knew any fixes for it? Would it need to be chosen as the default controller, or something along those lines, in the options menu?

Any help would be great, thanks!

Has your friend installed all the proper drivers for the guitar?

Where are the drivers located? I cannot remember how I installed it myself.

He has installed it however, without the Guitar plugged in. He plugged the Guitar in after he installed it. He did not have the Guitar plugged in while installing it.

Possibly the drivers did not automatically detect the Guitar on install?

Upon reasearching, it seems you don't need drivers for the guitar itself, just have up to date drivers for his keyboard and mouse. Also, if he is running a 64 bit OS, it may cause some problems as GH3 doesn't work well with it apparently.

I do not believe he has a 64-bit OS. He will be attempting to uninstall and install the game while the Guitar is connected. See if there is any lucky with that.
