I don't really like random matches because of hackers, crap talkers, etc, but I would like to be able to play a pc game online or over LAN with my cousin and a friend or two. Are there any good online/LAN games out there for 2-4 players, preferably ones below $30.00 and that would run on a 2.2 GHZ pentium for and 780 RAM with a 64 MB video card? I already have Diablo II, Warcraft 3, C&C First Decade and Starcraft, (pretty big blizzard and rts fan), so please don't recommend those). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like you've got the RTS genre covered, and we can't give you any more than random guesses if you don't narrow it down to what kinds of games you like.

For a small amount of players, maybe Unreal Tournament 2004 as an FPS? Since the combat is pretty simplistic it has well developed bots, and you can pad out your teams.

Neverwinter Nights can be a lot of fun online in co-op.

I recommend Worms III: Armageddon or Worms World Party.

you pretty much perfectly control the ragdoll.
it is completely free.
you can play online with many others and create ur own servers for you and ur friends and cousin.

It also has an rpg essence to it.
