The Bluemoon Tower

Sheer admiration and adoration for this place. Coming from a diehard horror movie and fantasy fanatic.. The Griffin fight had to personally be the best video game experience I've had so far. Better than some movies I've watched if I were to go so far as to say so. I don't want to leave the place it's just so wonderfully chaotic and fascinating. It took me a while to figure out how the hell to get there but it was a fun trek, and after how much I've come to enjoy this game so far.. This whole endeavor just bumped my appreciation for the game from 9/10 to 10/10. I won't spoil anything for anyone who might be reading this and has yet to get there but I'll wet your appetite by saying that if you're as entertained by darkness, suspense, action and violence as I am, this entire quest will be sure to satisfy in every way. As a sorcerer, it was even more fun. Standing in the distance healing my pawns from afar, enchanting their weapons and casting attacks that rain from the heavens it was like something from a Lord Of The Rings movie. Especially with that whole staff whip animation your character will do when you're creating that whirlwind-like attack. What a beautifully done adventure.. I can't wait to see what I run in to next.
And for those of you who aren't sure of how to reach the Bluemoon Tower I'll describe it to you to the best of my effort. Since trying to figure out how the f_ck to get there was a nightmare and a half for myself, I wouldn't want anyone else to have to suffer through the confusion, lol.

- Take the north exit from Gran Soren (really it doesn't matter which) and head for the bridge that crosses the river. It isn't more than a stones throw away really so it shouldn't be difficult to locate. Head over that bridge and make your way north north east towards Windbluff Tower. Once there, you should see a small arch that you can pass beneath that will lead you in to an open field with a bunch of Snow Harpies. Either take your time and kill them or haul ass to the other side, your choice. Once through this area, continue forwards in a north east direction until you come across a plain with barren trees. I assume your pawns will make the remark that it's difficult for anything to grow there like mine did, which should be a good indication you're in the right spot. Then, you'll come to a windy canyon, I believe that's exactly the name of the place... And you're pretty much on a straight line path to the Bluemoon Tower from there. Stalk up on consumeables because the bandits there are a lot stronger than the others you've faced, not to mention there's a surprise enemy that will kick your ass if you're not prepared. Good luck with the fight and I hope this provided you with more help than what I managed to recover from Google <,<.

In relation to the post above, after picking up that port crystal you open up the item at the Black Cat shop. You can place 5 port crystals throughout the world, opening up fast travel for yourself.. as long as you have ferrystones.

You may be right. I never placed more than 5 and the map didn't have any more room. I'm just assuming.

Been back on the forums for 20 minutes and already fallen in love with your screenshots and stories. I hope you don't finish.
