quote Raijin1999
The brine is really a crap mechanic and needs to go, and instead they have to add actual sea monsters. If you try to get to another location early by boat, you're going to have to fight a leviathan in some areas, or just have to deal with navigating through or around maelstroms and such. Could add a whole other fun element to water treks that have been sorely overlooked in every sandbox game this generation.
Shit, at least San Andreas actually let you dive under. :\
Submarines? Seriously, potential up in smoke.
Lol, I agree in so many ways. Not being able to swim in any open world game is the BIGGEST pet peeve of mine. I understand that the game is big enough as it is.. But just do the invisible wall, seriously. I'd rather swim for 5 minutes and suddenly not be able to swim further than not being able to swim at all. It's just irritating.
Also I see a lot of people talking about online features. I think it'd be cool and all, I have no doubt about that. However I feel like the pawn system is more than enough. Games like Dark Souls that have heavy online influence are always ruined by people who glitch, cheat and magically have every single item in the game over night. Personally I think they shouldn't add an online feature unless it's very minor. Such as being able to meet with other players via the rift perhaps, as well as their pawns. Then you could showcase your characters, possibly trade (even if only a limited amount) and not be stripped of the capability to pause your game when wandering the countryside. Because of course.. If it has a cooperative element such as being able to actually summon other people, you're not going to be able to just pause and walk away from the game for x amount of time. So, maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but.. I think NOT having an online capability is part of what made me love Skyrim so much, and part of what's making me love DD so much. Because you can do it all in your own time, your own way, and not feel like you're hauling someone else's ass along and pissing them off with all your mistakes. Or at least that's how I felt in Dark Souls xD. When I started out my phantoms would do 90% of the work for me and I was like <,<

I could have helped if you wanted ? Or at least TRIED to help D:
