equipment Armor questions

Are there any better armor than the Abysinal? not spelt right but anyway set. I know that it is the hardest to get and the rarest etc etc. I have it already but really don't think its anything amazing only better by a few stats and really doesn't look all that nice. I was wondering if there are any sets better?
Alot of people mention crimson, royal, twilight and shadow sets in everfall. I've come across royal curiass, twilight meanice? and crimson chest. Can anyone gimme any info on these and are they all everfall loot?
Do the chests in everfall ever restock?

I spent 3 hours reloading my save in fron of the chest for carmine pants.. 2% drops suck.

Also, the Aby armor is only good for defense.. you can literally wear any armor you want in the game is still school everything

One of the things I like most about dragons dogma is that once you get good skills, have learned how to play, and have a good set of augments and tactics then your gear just becomes purely visual. I have Abyssinal armour and crimson, but i choose not to wear it because i think its fugly. To each their own, I love the way my character looks with his gear at the moment and he has pretty decent stats. So i am happy and i still beat most things pretty easily. I still have a challenge now and then but i like it that way.

Well from the looks of it I'm going to be here a while anyway, trying to get ranger from 1-9 and mystic knight from 1-9 getting a bit bored of assassin. Also don't think I'm gonna finish the game this time leave the world in chaos its quite fun!

I think, generally, the Ur Dragon's loot is the best in equipment in their class. The weapons are best once fully upgraded (I think before they're upgraded, they're actually a bit weaker than the second best).

I have Ur dragons weapons for my vocations aside from the bow ( don't think there is one ). Only thing is the clothing mixed with armor makes most armor look horrible.


On a side note I have 3k hp now just hit level 103 with it and I'm fairly confident I can tank anything in DD well anything so far including Ur. Was just questioning as to which was actually the best but the crimson armor so far looks quality. Same with the royal actually.
Guess after NG+ it's only really your weapons that matter

That's what I was trying to find out. lol

They're just higher defense, red verisons, of the assassin's puffy pants. They match the red lion padding as well... another 2% drop.

I don't mess with the wiki too much because I don't know how to properly use the markups. lol I just wanted to gear out my characters with things that were hard to get a hold of because too many people run around in Ur gear.. it's not really that special anymore.
