Holy Mother of God. I just killed the Ur Dragon. Not defeated, I killed it.

I rented the most herp-a-derp Pawn ever, so much so that I think she was broken... We were fighting Direwolves, who are basically immune to ice attacks. I've been running with my Ranger, my Fighter/Warrior Main Pawn, and 2 rented Mages/Sorcs--one for healing and buffing mainly, the other chosen with purely damage spells. My DPS Sorcerer (who had 2 stars of knowledge on Direwolves from before I rented her) observed the wolves, cast Ice spells at them, screamed "My attacks have no effect!" 5 or 6 times...then proceeded to enchant my ENTIRE PARTY with Ice Affinity.... So we could all fail too. Except for my healer Mage, who said "Screw that" and proceeded to High Ingle us to victory all alone.



And she did this the whole way from Gran Soren to the Healing Spring up north that you escort the little witch girl to. Like, the whole way. And THEN when we were running along some pier looting things, it was like she gave up on life, because as my character bent over to loot something from a barrel she comes flying from behind the camera, vaults over his head into the water, and is nom-nommed by the Brine. It was hilarious. I still returned her as soon as we got back to town, but still.

Also, Shadow of Death, thank you sooooo much for all the Rift Crystals and nice ratings. I wish I could return in kind but you're still like 10 lvls ahead of me I'd be higher but my wife stole my game. Like seriously, she had no interest in it, played it one time while I was at work, and now she won't give it back.

A while ago, I was going to defeat that griffon that was at the Blue Tower....Moron pawns, ALL THREE of them somehow managed to fall off the edge, so I had to go it alone >_<

You're welcome, though for the time being I've moved on to another fighter. Just doesn't pay to have a 3rd party pawn that is well below your level ~_~

Seems like 90% of the pawns out there are mages. -_-
So I tried a 4 mage party.

.....Horrible.....

I get the best results with 2 fighter tanks. The 'block anything' ability is one they are extremely quick to spam. Course it helps they are level 100+ and have holy swords and shields.

Also noticed a crap ton of developer pawns are still littered in the system with private PSN IDs that aren't traceable. The two I hired most recently are still active and likely still testing, as they both sign in and out of PSN simultaneously. They did accept the friend invite right off the bat, so if you're lookin' for some heavy backup then search for pawns by level.

Note: There is a larger exp penalty for using pawns that are 'suped up' and far beyond your pawns level/abilities.

You don't mean you got credit for actually ending him, as in You'll get the unique reward nobody else will get?

If so, helluva coincidence that someone on THIS forum was the one to do it.

Or were you playing offline? Because even people offline will be able to fight a (weaker) version of him, for a lesser reward?

Well, I'm assuming I killed him. I got about 4 weapons and a set of Abyssinal Armor, which says that it's only given to those who delve deep into the abyss or something like that. Also, it had no life left and it died directly after one of my hits. And I'm playing online, I know that.

Okay, so I just looked it up online and apparently the general community knows jack shit about the Ur Dragon. Anyone with the guide know if it says anything useful? Maybe I didn't kill it after all.... All I know is it legit died after about 2-3 minutes of fighting, during the fight it dropped around 25-30 pounds of dragon items, and then back in the room all of the above equipment spawned. But it would be pretty cool if I did kill it.

EDIT: Also, I'll point out that it was the 6th generation dragon I killed, not the first one lol

Gamefaqs reports a Gen in the double digits already. Qbox version? Ps3? Urrrrrrrrrr (Dragon?)
