PS3 or 360

Hey all -

I was wondering if there was a preferenece for this game. Are there any glaring differences between the ps3 360 version? Like leading up to Skyrim release everyone knew it would be better on 360.

Any input would help! Plan on getting for ps3 because I like their cases better. =P

That is a hard choice for me. The way Skyrim turned out really puts me off when thinking about buying games like these on my PS3 but I d like the cases better as well. I also find the PS3 to be an RPG console. Probably because of my love for the PS2.

I'm a 360 user, because I just haven't gotten around to getting a ps3. I like the 360 more as a console, but the ps3 has better exclusives, so yeah.

And games I like just tend to be better on the 360. Oblivion, Skyrim, anything made by Bethesda........... *cough* So yeah, just going to stick with 360. xD

Not really, it's a clever marketing tactic on MS's part and unlike their competitors they really do have the money to throw around.

Still I'll be getting it on PS3 myself, the demo ran smoothly enough and the footage I've seen shows promise for that version as well. Plus I don't yet have a 360, there isn't really much on it that interests me. Everything I want to play is either PS exclusive or multiplatform.

My rule of thumb has always been single player games, including ones like Dark Souls that have *some* online elements - to get for PS3. Other examples: Batman game and a lot of RPGs.

360 is for stuff like cod and what not, mainly because all my friends have it for that system.

However, something that takes precedent over. All of the above for me is the crappier of the two versions. If this will run better on 360 out the gate I'm switching my preorder.

Considering the 360 has been pulled from Japanese store shelves for about a year and change now, chances are Microderps just paid them off as is their usual case. Capcom isn't their buddy, they just like money. Capcom does however like how XBL works over PSN (Cap gets a cut of the XBL service charge).

Get the PS3 version! It's free! This isn't a game you need to worry about lag either, since it's not that kinda online game. Also the soft shadow rendering that the PS3 pushes makes the lighting on clothes and capes all the more inredible. Just sucks that the in game screenshot option JPEGs the image and kinda kills quality. The dancing shadows cast by your lantern light in the darkness is awesome, especially when it reveals some horrific or lumbering figure not too far away and you suddenly have to deal with it.

According to some reviews the PS3 version actually runs smoother than the 360 version.

I know I was surprised as well.
