Ways to tone down the difficulty (new game plus onwards)

The wilder+genma way:

Devil speed/flast +phantasm/True phantasm.

How to do it:

Activate devil speed or flash (8 MOV) phantasm will allow you to bypass obstacles, true phatasm however allows you to teleport near a controlled character! meaning you can easly gan up on tough enemies and shorten distances traveling.

Reason why this tones down the difficulty: the combo can be obtained as far as six hours onto the game, it allows you to clear the game fast, like in 5-15 minutes.

The Almighty way:

Holy Dance/megido/megioladon/Drain/Ultimate Attack+ Magic Ying+Enlightment+Dual Shadow or Ultimate attack+Attack all+ PHYS Amp (more ways on this one later).

Reason why it tones down the difficulty: depending on the combo it destroys enemies like cake, now depending on how you stack the skills you migth end tearing every demon a new one in a literal flash, given that magic ying boosts any attack by 1.5 and enlightement dishes an extra 1.5 multiplier, both could be stackable with a 40 MAG user the attacks hurt badly.

Ultimate attack+attack all+dual shadow/Phys Amp: this gices you a 25% of attacking all people TWICE in a row, phys amp is there to make you look more of a badass monster given that eh bien, it's a nice 1.5x multiplier, it depends on what you wnat a little luck or more consistent damage.

Ultimate attack+Attack all+Drain hit: Similar to the combo above, only that this time around you are toying with your HP, since via attack all and ultimate attack you ont need to spend HP hitting everybody using hassophappa for example, this time every time you hit you drain there are multiple ways to combine this to make it very devastating.

A nice way to mix this up is to have a physical oriented character with this combo having an abbadon demon and a wilder demon like mothman, get in range, and then you can make the enemy crap themselves to no end, a nice alternative is to have also blitzkierg or rage soul, sure the later limits you on a number of ways but hitting twice the damage with an almigthy physical attack is no joke.

Given that the Fiend demons have an ability that allows you to move as soon as you ended your previous move so replace the demon speed/devil Flash demon and use the above combo, this often demolishes bosses.

Low Level Run Combo:

For speed runners devil speed/flash+phantasm/True phantasm or warp+ Switch is the way to go, low level runners want a dragon on a fiend like Abbadon (also fuse him until you can give him Phy drain, making for every effect abbadon invincible, or at least very hard to kill) and an omega or devil speed or even the switch/warp demons.

How to perform:

This needs at least a two turn set up and one demon must have the hero soul skill (so he can keep taking fatal damage instead the MC, you must move/switch until you are in range of the enemy (this is for defeat x enemy, not defeat all enemies, that needs phantasm/true phantasm) then start by unsummoning the move demon and summon Abaddon, make sure you do this and start attacking from afat, having grimore+ and petra eyes is not a bad idea neither on the MC given that it will stop demons who dont have resist curse.

Critical Way:

Physical attackers are often mocked due to their use of HP, until you get your first omega, probably karikteya, his racial ability allows a character who lands a critical hit, during an extra turn get a second extra turn (in other words per attack you can pull 3 attacks!).

How to do it:

Hero Aid+Ares Aid + Drain hit/Phys Amp/Double Shadow+ Blitzkerg as must for this version is migthy hit, or a multi hit move, hero+ares gives you 75% of landing a critical hit, migthy hit allows you to land a perfect critical hit, asura destiny will kick off giving you an extra turn, making you a potential monster on the battle field.

Victory cry+Magic yang/ying+almighty+Enlightment: This works like a combo i mentioned before, but with a small difference, victory cry helps to restore your MP (mana aid can be used) to compensate for magic yang stealing your MP like no one, or MAgic ying reducing your MP cost (If only one could get a legit demon with magic yang and an other with ying, that would be gamebreaker)

the topic is not that old , but these are merley a number of gamebreaking methods, i am still at odds to complete the full chart, but practically every evolved racial skill can be used in harmony with a different demon with a different racial skill to produce amazing results.

An example are the fiends:

Trumpeter MAG MC Lucifer (Unearthly Form + Magic yang/ying & mana aid+ Tyranny) the way this ends up working is that per every skirmish is heal MP faster than i can deplete it, so in the long run i can spam more holy dances than other characters.

obiwankenobi it is a good idea, but the downside of that combo in particular is that it leaves you very vulnerable, try making a trumpeter and a ghost Q.

Sadly it is limited in use and needs a massive amount of setup to run in an efficient manner, however, devil flash+switch or warp step/ true phantasm+ switch or warp step, is much more fast at what it does, yes massive pain in the ass to pull, but well worth it.

Who has True Phantasm and Warp Step?

Level a demon that has devil speed or switch to a certain level the racial skill will switch or evolve.

Thanks I did not know that. I've been switching out daemons so one has never been that high I guess.

I really just started playing this one. I just got to Osaka and trying to save Keita. So there are quite a few things I have not figure out just yet.

Hero is level 17 and most of my daemons are around level 15 and 16. So we have a ways to go yet.

If you have any other tips that would be great.

I got Tam Lin already. I already noticed the value of Devil Speed and Phantasm/Flight. I had not thought of going magic with the Hero but it could work. I could pick up some dances for now and then later go for better single target magic attacks (extra turns are a must have).
