how the heck do you kill this thing, I have tried even on easy mode and still couldn't kill this thing. could someone please help me ? what is the secret?

are you fighting it as Sam or Jaq?

I'll assume its Sam since his is first.. at least I think it is
Sam's fight is pretty easy, all you have to do is attack him until his armor falls off, then he is open to attack. Its helpful if you use your Oni transformation, since it can basically kill him even in normal mode.

Onimusha Mode helps on both fights + keep moving + you have license to use oni liquid, especially in Hard Mode, so use all your magic to kill him.

In the battle against Cerberus (with Jacques), i believe that you can grapple onto a bar on the ceiling of the chamber (correct me if im wrong about this fact). This is a great advantage to escaping his charging attacks, with good timing, and along with utilising Oni mode at the right time... you shouldnt struggle if you keep at it and perfect dodge and blocking certain moves.

Basically you attack and run, lol. First off when you begin the fight, you hit him as many times as you can. Then when he's about to attack, swing onto one of the two butterfly things (you can evade every attack the dog makes). Once you do this a couple of times, use all of your magic from all 3 of your weapons. Or mix n' match, but yea that's the easiest way to kill it. Hope this helps ^^

Yeah that was it. I forgot about the butterflies, strangely i thought it was a bar on the roof... must be thinking of something else... oh! Ohatsu from DoD. That's what i was thinking about!

yeah it was easy for me as well when I used the Hyosai's magic attack a few times than switched to Enja and finally won against Gertrude.
