Dreams that are scary at the time but not really?

I always get those kind of dreams. That's because you can't control anything when you're dreaming, so whatever your mind puts together, if it decides it's scary, then you're scared in the dream.

I once had a dream where I was on my computer and then a blue screen popped up saying something about an error (not the blue screen that everybody knows and loves ), and it was scary for some reason, and I tried screaming but nothing was coming out of my mouth, and then I woke up and realized that it wasn't scary at all. I mean, if I found out I was mute or something, that would be scary, but the whole situation wasn't scary as a whole, but I was terrified in my dream.

they dont seem scary when you are awake because you relize they are not real but when you are dreaming they seem very real, ive had dreams where i have lost my phone and my phone had everything on it i was freaking out, but when i woke up i was relived, although i had to look for my phone first lol

I woke up the other day with my heart pounding. The dream setting was me driving in my car. All that I remember was seeing a guy slide from the other lane into mine, and roll off the road just ahead of me. I was also going really fast, and soon after that guy wrecked I saw another car coming in the opposite lane an it was being chased by 2 police cars. I felt terrified upon awakening, but when I think about it now it seems like it would be cool and exhilarating!
