How do I clear space on my Memory Card?

I have no idea. I don't even know how to look at what's on it.

Well frankly that's ridiculous. How can a system not have the capacity to show individual files on a memory card? Even the 3DS allows for that in some regard.

Unfortunately I do need a bigger memory card but am worried about doing so because all my memory is already on this 4GB I got with my console, and last time I tried to move files from one card to another, I ended up accidentally formatting... both. ):

I don't have this problem yet (i was CLEVER and swapped the 4GB for a 16 when i first bought the Vita ), but from what i gather doing the delete thingy on apps will delete saved data too, correct? Is there a way of keeping the saved data, like there is on PS3?

I honestly just kept data like this stored on a flash drive from the content manager and delete the space until i need it again...just bear in mind none of this data will work on other PSN accounts, games/save data/anything

delete apps like youtube and facebook as both are on the web browser u can now viewvids online that saves about 100 mb enough to buy a physical game and hold its save data.

You can upload game data using content manager to PC, ps3 or (if you have PS plus) online storage. Then simply delete your game or if you're having problems, format your card.
