Amazing game like 3rd Birthday

Hey all,

Im new here and saw see some good posts about the vita and games to dl on it.

My question is what do you guys think is another great game like 3rd birthday. I got it and it is amazingly good, especially with the 2nd analog. At first i wasn't sure because i am more of a 1st/3rd person shooter and action type player. But i see there is a wealth of RPG games and i want to get into them, However i need good graphics or at least relatively good. The final fantasy's (or at least the old ones) and tactic ogre games i cant do cause for me its painful to look at. Even the game monster hunter seems a little to much. I was thinking also about gods eater but am not sure, mind you have haven't played any of these games.

So what would you guys recommend ... i love 3rd birthday and would like something similar .. i guess more of an action rpg.

Thanks and .... ps i am loving the vita and cant wait for the anticipated games from E3 to come out...so far i have HSG, BlazBlue, Rayman Origins, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Super Stardust .. and decent amount of PSP titles i already had from the PSP and PSPgo

Any Ys Game for the psp, and the upcoming remake of Ys IV on the vita this fall, but especially Ragnarok Online: Odyssey in August if youre patient

Ugh, IMO there's really nothing amazing or in-depth about The 3rd Birthday. Probably one of the worst third person shooters with optional upgrades I've ever played (and such a bad spin off to Parasite Eve). For action RPG's there's really not that much right now for the Vita. Gravity Rush and Monster Hunter Freedom: Unite or Gods Eater: Burst are about as good as they come. PSP's mostly riddled with turn based jRPG's really.

Well don't mind me really, just rants from someone who's played the PE games before. Though in terms of graphics AND gameplay? It's hard to determine really, they DO look good and games like Monster Hunter are very addicting but to really get a better judgment, you might be better off watching gameplay videos on Youtube. Gods Eater: Burst's gameplay is based on Monster Hunter really, so both are almost identical in some small ways. And again, Persona games might not be for you, since if you're looking for Action RPG's, P4 is turn based.

Gravity Rush is short but sweet and yet decent! yes it's a title you can't afford to miss but it's also a title you don't really need to have for showcasing the vita ability! at the end of the day, get it at your own discretion.
