	Log in to remove this sponsored message I usually have my vita hooked up to my notebook for transferring file purposes but I'm not sure if it will charge my vita as well. Should I leave it on or turn it off during battery charge? I'm trying to achieve a 100% charge but haven't yet accomplish! Edit: Apr 24, 12 1:03pm -------------------

	Not sure what the charger wire thingy is for a Vita, but PS3 controllers (USB to mini-USB) charge fine on my laptop. -------------------

	it's a proprietary typed usb cable for the vita! i have this thing connected to my laptop and it is not charging at all! it remains at the same percentage! Edit: Apr 24, 12 4:37pm -------------------

	I remember reading a pre-launch article about this. I believe the upshot was that charging via a USB port isn't an option.

	Mine charges if it's off. If it's on it doesn't. Kinda silly. -------------------
