Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns hasn't been in the spotlight for quite a while, until today when SEGA announced yet another delay for the brawler. That's the third one we've heard about, if you'd like to keep count.
SEGA has been keeping busy on Twitter today informing its followers of the game's latest delay, which pushes the Western release pretty far back -- early next year, even.
A generic tweet was issued in response to multiple inquiries, stating quite plainly, "The release of Anarchy Reigns has been re-evaluated. We now expect to launch in Europe and America in Q1 of 2013."
Originally planned for October 2011, the game was first delayed until January 2012, then to July, which seemed like a smart move since summer tends to be a slow season. Now it looks like Anarchy Reigns will be lumped together with the mess of other AAA titles pushes into early 2013, like Tomb Raider, Metro: Last Light, BioShock Infinite, and others.
Hmm, anyone else smell another delay?
