Why did Caius die in Valhalla but Serah didn't when they both took those fatal wounds? Noel says shortly after he's "killed" him that there's no death in Valhalla. If this is the case, then this means Caius is in the dream state that Serah was in, and surely that means he can return? And why did he assume he had to die to stay with Yuel in Valhalla when he is quite present in there a lot of the time? Surely if he just stayed there, Yuel would too? Maybe we're meant to be confused? -------------------

	I haven't and I still know the awnser to each of those. 1:Serah didn't die in valhalla. She was stabbed in a shadow of valhalla in the void beyond. You truelly can't die there, instead you enter a pseado reality that is your hearts desire, kinda like heaven. 2:Cauis died in the actual valhalla, by having his heart of chaos stabbed by noel. Notice how he disappeared after that. That is because the heart of chaos was the only thing keeping him alive sence the first seeress. If a normal person beat him, he would have just come back. But sense noel did it, the last potential guardian, the heart of chaos left him, ending his existance. That is how he truelly died in valhalla. 3:Yuels spirit would continue to revive, cause Cauis was present alll through out history. (He was alive and lived through all of the timeline, meaning he never jumped through time. He lived till the end of time, aka valhalla, due to his heat of chaos, a manifestation of etro.) Yuel's spirit would continue to revive to be with cauis all the way through the time line. It would never stay in valhalla. So cauis had to die to eliminate the need for Yuel's spirit to come back to life, meaning her spirit would remain in valhalla. It all makes sense. Not sure if it's all right, but it makes sense. ------------------- Light,Darkness,Nothingness. Only nothingness is truelly eternal. Rage,Destruction,Sacrifice,Time,Nothingness, Madness,Greed,Solitude,and Despair. The ten aspects of death. All eternal and all consuming.

I didn't realise Noel was so important in the death of Caius, nor that Serah died (or didn't die) somewhere different. -------------------

	Your welcome, but you should still watch the secret ending. Look it up on youtube or something. It'll probebly cover more stuff than I said. I just pointed out facts. Oh also Cauis actually never truelly wanted to destroy everything, he just wanted to save yuel. The only other way though, was to be beaten by a potential guardian, meaning noel. Course, noel would never, and could never kill Cauis of his own free will without a huge risk other than his own life on the line. So Cauis decide to work to destroy tie. This way, Either he would succeed and destroy time, negating yuel's death, or get Noel to kill him, eliminating yuel's urge to return to him. Cauis knew Noel could and would do it in order to save time itself, so thats why he hadn't yet killed the Goddess in valhalla before Noel and Serah arrived, even though he "defeated" lightning already. He wanted to give Noel one last chance to kill him. So really, Cauis was never truelly evil, just tired and heartbroken of seeing every yuel die before his eyes, while he could do nothing. ------------------- Light,Darkness,Nothingness. 	I have only played the 360 demo but I think it's probably because Serah is a main character. I have not even heard of Caius.
