Make a Wish (genies not included)

I loved the use of monsters, honestly. What I hated about it was the lack of difficult bosses and monsters that actually gave you a reason to master monster collection. You never really have to do much to beat the game, including all of the extra fragments. No monster was strong enough to warrant training anything beyond Chichu. UNTIL the DLC, but by the time that came out you've already moved on and you honestly can't find a reason to go back and train monsters just to beat Gilgamesh or Valofdr.

I too noticed the CGI downgrade. It's because the scenes weren't pre-rendered in XIII-2 like they were in XIII. XIII required 3 discs for the 360 just because of all those scenes, so they made XIII-2 with all the scenes (but the first and last) done differently, and that's why they suffer. Versus will be that way too. Personally, I prefer the pre-rendered. They are amazing.

The voice overs also need some work. XIII's were great, XIII-2's were...subpar. Sometimes it was spot on, but others it was way off and that's what you end up directing your attention towards during the scene. It's incredibly distracting.
