This could always change. Just let the game finish ^^.

Either way it looked like a pretty fun game.

It's not about giving up easily or not, and it's not about the hurt, it's about the healing process.
There are more people hurting Light and Cecil than people healing them, so mathematically, they will be taken down.

It would take 16 heals to take up Lightning to Sephiroth's level, if we accept the fact that all the people concerned will hurt Cecil, and then Sephiroth. After 3 turns, Cecil would be down. So Lightning would be at 12, but then the other members healing Sephiroth would have to hurt someone else by the time Cecil is down, and this would mean Lightning.

And so that's why I say that it doesn't really matter to continue this particular hurt & heal. Why not put another one so the game continues with a whole range of possible endings ? This one will last for nothing, as Sephiroth will win this.

I'm not saying all this because Light is obviously done for, it's just because it would be fun to have a real game instead of this.
