Whats the best monster you tamed? *spoilers* - Page 3

Red - Dunno, fought him around the time I was fighting the mini bosses there.

Blue - Was tough when I first made it there, so he's a challenge for the first time going there.

Green - Not that easy to kill because he full heals unless staggered, and even then you must beat him before he unstaggers or else he full heals again.

Black - Easy when you get to the Vile Peaks 10 AF.

White - Like Green Chocobo, but easier, and you don't get him till Oerba 400 AF.

Purple - Easy too, but he can hit hard first time you meet him. Especilly since he buffs himself alot before hitting you like a truck.

Gold - Don't even have to fight him to get him. Good Commando though.

Silver - Best Sentinel I have, and you don't even fight him to get him.

Regular - Easy, nothing special about him except he's a weaker version of Gold Chocobo.

Lightning and Omega.
Best investments EVER.

Btw, anyone looking to score some easy monster crystals

I actually don't use a ravager anymore: Purple Chocobo has spoiled me.

So now I use a COM, SYN, and MED.

That is what I was wondering, as to what to go with as there are only 3 slots in the pack but 6 roles. They should increase the packs slots to six. >.<

That was eliminate the need to actually think. :D

Flanitor - MED
Imp - SYN
Dragoon - COM

I start my battles with Imp to gain all the advantage spells. Then I quickly revert to my COM. That's where I usually finish off most my fights.

I have Gagatuar cactus...got it on my first try. I just don't see him being that great, unless someone else knows something i don't?

...still working to get some better stuff.

The giant Cactus is a 100% drop, but be aware, there are only three of them so if you lose one of them, be sure you've not already defeated the others (if you have one and you defeat another, you wont get the extra crystal)!

My current team is:

Dragoon (COM)
Bunkerbeast (SEN)
Green Chocobo (MED)


My best monster currently would be Dragoon, as I have levelled it up (so cheap). Also gave him Gilfinder II and along with 2 collector catalogs I have equipped, it's gil falling from the skies. ;P


Also, slowly levelling up Chichu which will become my strongest monster. Cloudburst too.

I have more powerful monsters but really I stick to what monsters i actually like and not on power, I use:

Tonberry(COM)
Cloudburst(RAV)
Pulse Gladiator(SEN)
Yakshini(SYN)
and White Chocobo (MED)

I currently dont have a SAB monster, dont think it would be much use anyways.

Power isnt everything aslong as your smart about how you fight you could use any setup and still win just as easy.

I never knew there was a Black and White versions. Will hunt them to extinction now, trying to capture them. XD Got the Gold, Silver, Green, Blue, and Regular. Can't remember where I saw the red and purple ones, unfortunately.
