Wow well i got it to work and i was just about to delete it and give up. My problem was I installed patch but just getting black screen then back to desktop. To solve :

#1 Use default install directory C:\activision\tony hawk pro skater 2. Otherwise the patch will not work

#2 Rename the Movies folder to Movies2 or anything different so it can't find the movies. After this it worked fine. Apparently bink.dll or whatever runs the movies isn't all kosher with winxp. I know this game worked in winxp sp1 but apparently sp2 screws something up.

#3 have fun and post your high scores on the hanger

i get an error message in a special module but i didn't find a solution for that parhaps you can help

Hi. I use this path and it works perfectely. U have to put it into your THPS2 direcotry and apply.

just put the .com file at you thps2 folder and run it... works great

hey all, i recently tried to re-install the game on my computer and still cant get it to run. It begins to load but stays at a black screen, few seconds later you get the lovely error report. Im running Windows XP Home, SP2 on my machine. Have a ATI Radion 9550 graphics card, 2gb ram. I tried turning the sound acceleration off like some other forums said and that still does not help. I have tried installing the patch (and it is in the THPS2 directory) and also tried changing the compatibility. None of this helps. Is this just a lost cause or am i just overlooking something that would make it run? Thanks.

Hey peeps, I got the game working in the menus and stuff... except when I load the levels, it stops and goes back to windows.
