Wait, WHY? If you were hoping for some Tomb Raider DLC that returns to the single-player, prepare to be disappointed. Crystal Dynamics has announced that there are currently no plans to put out any single-player DLC, as the studio is focusing on multiplayer content. Nevermind that Tomb Raider's multiplayer is considered by many to be the weakest part of an overall amazing package. During a Reddit AMA, global brand director Karl Stewart responded to inquiries with this disappointing revelation. He said: "There are currently no plans in place for any Single Player expansions. All of our DLC is based around the Multiplayer experience for now." The decision isn't entirely outrageous. After all, many games get multiplayer segments crammed into them just to add a little replayability. Yet for a game with such a strong single-player, you'd think the folks behind it would prioritize accordingly. At any rate, Stewart didn't outwardly say that Crystal Dynamics would never produce any kind of Tomb Raider campaign DLC. For the time being, however, we're just going to have to sit through the multiplayer stuff first. 	So let me get this straight... Tomb Raider has been unanimously praised for its absolutely amazing Singleplayer, so much so that many people were able to overlook its sup-par at best mutliplayer... And they decide to release DLC for the lesser of the two? Ok, that makes sense... -------------------

	At least they didn't take any part of the main story to sell it as DLC... and those who got the game played the complete single player experience, just like in the past. So this is good news.

	Agreed. Tomb Raider's multiplayer, in its current state, pales in comparison to its excellent single player component. Hopefully, the new DLC at least slightly improves the multiplayer. ------------------- PSN - DragonSlayerx45

I finished 'MG: Rising' and sold it back because it's just above average. Doesn't qualify for my personal collection at this stage.

Given the casual gamer which these games cater too, they are usually bombarded with a constant stream of good games that they want to play and can sell their games towards these new ones. Why would a casual keep a singleplayer that was designed to be played a few times? Or said differently: they're employing parts of a relatively expensive external team to continue to "support" the game for a specific period of time ahead, before they will be let go together with extra staff employed around release at a point where ceo types realize the game fails to draw in hordes of microtransaction-foragers. (Which they will blame on piracy and the sometimes bad press over the tressfx thing, because with no context this will look negative). Instead of employing a couple of guys in between another project to create a few new forgotten tombs. Which in the real world, outside Neogaf, actually would make people play the game another few hours. 	Just because most of us said that the Multiplayer was the weakest, doesn't mean that they take it and think that's the right way to go, in an effort to work on it. Such a dumb move Crystal Dynamics! Most of us didn't even buy the game for the MP and even more of us didn't even play the MP for like ten minutes!
