What is the punishment for street racing where you are from? Do the cops actually try to look for street racers?

⁹/₁₀ of my threads I create on this forum (neoseeker as a whole) are stupid or worthless, and I still manage to get a shit ton or replies. Then I see quality ones go die off with few replies. I have noticed I do get a lot of sarcastic replies and stuff too in a lot of my threads.

Given the years and optional equipment, my Sonic is better than the Cavalier. My Cavalier had fog lights, keyless entry, power windows, and power locks. My Sonic has all though, plus remote start, sunroof, and on star. I'm sure it has other options the Cavalier didn't, but I really wasn't concerned about anything else. Sunroof and remote start, along with power windows and locks were all I wanted the car to have. Everything else didn't matter option wise. This car also has 244,812 less miles as well.

Good thing I don't live wherever you live! We race in strategic areas so the police presence is as minimal as possible. The punishment for racing is still just a ticket here, depending what county you're in. Some cops are just like whatever here's a warning and some will lock you up for it....Which is why we do it strategically!!

You get off easy if that's it. Here if you are caught, you will receive a massive fine, your car will be confiscated for a a week or 2(you will be charged all towing and storage fees) and you will lose your licence minimum 3 months.

Get caught multiple times and you may be looking at possibly losing your car for good, thousands in fines, loss of licence for minimum 3 months up to a couple of years.

Cops drive around in modified and performance cars and bait people. Whether it's revving the engine at the lights, doing ricer flybys or driving slow and speeding up every time you attempt to pass them.
Can't trust any car here, its not worth the risk.
