Yeah, if you want HIDs then you have to pay to play. I paid a pretty penny for the ones in my Trans Am but they are legit, cut off and all.



The orange isn't discoloration or a malfunction in the bulb, it's to show the difference between stock fog lights and 5000k HID bulbs.

Yeah, I was going to hold off from going HID until I had the time and funds to get the projectors and the kit all in one shot. And the blue tint just filters the light emitted, thus creating even less usable light. I just don't want to spend the $60-70 for those extra bright/super hot burning halogens(Silverstar Ultra/NH Platinum), there's been way too many people coming back and complaining about the short life of those bulbs(I work at a auto parts store). However, I did hear from a friend that there are bulbs called HIR which emit light at a temperature of around 4800k and produce around the same amount of light as HID, but are manufactured to work in reflector housings.
