First Impressions

The odd stuff was pants, I'm a little frustrated on the putting green at the moment. Good game though.

I don't like the caddy for the most part, hes a dumbass especially when putting from 10ft and in. For example: I am playing tournament conditions and have a 10 foot left to right breaker subtly. His marker will be 2 cups outside and 5 ft short of the hole, when all u need is half a cup outside and either right at the hole or actually a little past the hole. I rarely use him when putting. On regular shot making hes ok, not great, just ok. On occassion I will use custom shots when his dumb self says "lets go for the middle of the green," when the flag is very accessible, or when he picks a too strong club and wants you to hit a stupid percent like 66%, when all you need is the club below what he's suggesting.

Also, don't like the 281 weeks trophy, its pretty crazy considering I don't ever play past 2 or 3 seasons in previous games. It's alot of mundane playing events over and over and crushing the other golfers. Tried the insane setting for AI scoring, and it really is crazy. If I wanted to beat scores that crazy, I will just go online in the live tournaments. I've played 2 tournaments like this a won both, but just didnt like doing it.

Don't like the 40+ dollars EA wants you to spend on DLC courses, just to play events. They're trying to rip every cent from you, Wtf! a holes

I got this game Friday. I play on Tour Pro. If i want spin on the ball, i'll use the right stick before hitting the shot, and i'd rather be more accurate than trying to hit the ball 10 more yards.

I've just qualified for the Masters.

The Caddie is useless. He always aims through the trees, and when hitting out of a bunker to the green, he'll suggest hitting an 80% shot to get close, but you only need 50%. Other times, he wants you to play trick shots, by hitting the edge of the bunker.

Approach shots to the greens. He tells you to hit a 90% shot to land on the green, you hit 98% to make sure, and it falls short, and other times, he'll have you hitting it over the green.

Not even going to mention putting.

Anyway, its an ok game, but let down by the Caddie and the DLC. I wouldn't of minded playing say Augusta 6 times a year to fill the calender

allen33and88 even using custom shots, you still use the caddy for an idea of shot power and where it will end up.

He is a life saver at hazard shots though. But it just doesn't feel like I'M playing the game, it just feels like i'm pressing the buttons, and the AI does the rest. I may just go back to TW 10
