Well, ever since that ridiculous comment from Mass Effect artist Derek Watts about lipstick and breasts on turians. The screenshot shows Nyreen, leader of the Talon mercenary group on Omega. As it turns out, the leaked screenshots were accurate, depicting a turian without much of a crest and overall softer facial features, giving her a hybrid appearance of a human and a cat. That's the best way we'd describe her anyway; she looks a bit odd without the same extreme features as the turian boys. Mass Effect 3: Omega will be released November 28. 	Krogan females are Turian females done right. Iirc Turian females where said (by a turian no less) that the females looked almost EXACTLY like the males with the only difference being the crest (they never stated the crest was smaller so it was really all up to the imagination) and voice. I'm pretty sure one of the books said that, before the comic featuring the turian female came out (and it looked ugly but a lot more like a turian than this current form) which was considered non canon. I guess they just took the comic non-canon turian and made her easier on the eyes. Krogan females (and I could be wrong on this, my ME lore is hazy since I haven't been keeping up to date since ME3's release) are very similar to males except females are usually larger and possibly (up until they nuked themselves) played a dominant role over the males (in the games Eve hints at this wanting for equality rather than have one gender or mindset rule). I say possibly because it was very vague and all that was said was that females where much more dominant before they invented weaponry and nuked themselves into oblivion (and this idea is further reinforced by Eve who mentions that females played a larger role previously). Of course I believe it was left vague on purpose to be left up for the imagination of the fan. Fun fact: Turians don't have a concept of sexism (or more like they just don't believe in inequality since they could have had sexism at one point in their history). Males and females are treated as equal and all are required to join the army after they reach maturity. Wait did I already said this before? Either way a female turian leader is no big deal to the turians, they all have stick up their asses all the same and they will all beat you to death with those (unclean) sticks. 	I don't know the exact reasoning of why it's non-canon but apparently it is so up until Omega we still never knew what the females really looked like. The whole thing was a mess, I'm glad it was cut out of the story line. Though the character of Eva Core seems to have some importance. -------------------

I just wish they where a little more creative with the females. After seeing some amazing fanart on them on Deviant Art I was expecting something totally out there yet awesome. But at least it doesn't look like those comic turians which where arguably more ugly than garrus in lipstick ever could be, because face it. Garrus is fabulous.
