The long awaited Mass Effect 3 "Omega" add-on has been dated and priced, and at this week's New York Comic-Con, BioWare is assuring fans that this one's going to be big. Come November 27, Mass Effect 3 players on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 can snag the DLC for for $15 or 1200 Microsoft Points. If you're a European PS3 owner, expect the "Omega" content a day later, on November 28.

That will make "Omega," or whatever it ends up being titled, the most expensive Mass Effect DLC to date, but it's supposed to be "double the size" of any ME3 add-on so far, says producer Mike Gamble. Compared to Mass Effect 3: Leviathan, anyway.

As the temporary title pretty much suggests, you'll be headed back to the former mining colony -- during the events of the game, not after -- where Omega's former queen bee Aria T'loak enlists Shepard's aid in taking back her turf from Cerberus. And really, who can so "no" to Aria?

The DLC's plot follows right after the Mass Effect 3: Invasion prequel comic, when Aria lost control of Omega to General Petrovsky. Petrovsky will also be returning, Gamble stated, and we'll be seeing our very first female turian. Expect new enemies as well, most likely of the Cerberus variety.
