The phoenix can only wield the eagle. How fitting.

However, dare I say it? Not even the eagle can stop this over-- oh who am I kidding. That gun makes Asari's cry and they don't even need weapons!

Story-wise, it would seemingly make more sense than Protheans. And obviously the STG doesn't "really" care what the Council says. And, at least, the Shadow Broker was intelligent enough not to just be in a state of rage. I think it would be worth blurring the lines just to shove that Tech Shield in a Brute's face

I generally see a game with multiplayer and go, "Alright, the multiplayer isn't canon because to do so would be *bleep*ING RIDICULOUS." Looks like less people think my way than I thought, or at least, less developers.

I can sort of understand the rationale of avoiding different canons, assuming that is the case. I know a lot of people are confused by the different canons of the Star Wars Universe, for example.

Normally I would agree with you guys but at this point they have already established that the MP is canon to the single player to an extent. So changing it now would allow for greater content but would change what multiplayer would mean for many people (A seperate yet roughly equal experience to SP as opposed to a device to add to the SP canon).

I think they should stay the course, I'm sure they very well could explain just about anything away regarding MP.
