	Log in to remove this sponsored message What real world mythology influences have you found in Skyrim? Or the TES games in general. I have played Oblivion and Skyrim. Other than the wackiness of the Shivering Isles that you could possibly compare to Alice in Wonderland, I think there are influences other than the apparent Norse lore throughout the series. What is interesting are the peoples of Skyrim. I think all peoples are very beautiful. .-. In British Isles lore, which is essentially Arthur and the Knights of the Round, Faerie races are not what you would just immediatly think of as pixies. On the contrary, the term Faerie also extends to elven races, pagan rituals...kind of all inclusive of nature worshippers. I think that all of the non-human races could be said to be of Faerie race if you use this line of thought. Kind of extends to LOTR mythology as well. Playing the Werewolf Quests it draws heavily from the idea of Valhalla. As a Werewolf, you cannot get there. Which was deterring to me when playing through as a warrior, because Sheogorath's feast halls is reminiscent of the Great Feast Halls, but there is the eternal Huntsgrounds... What kind of references have you found to works of fiction? Have you got any deeper theories about Historical World mythologies influencing TES? lore mythology easter eggs fiction

	carous Elambra I've seen some hints of virtually every mythology Judeo-Christian: the All maker if the Skall, Mehrunes Dagon Greek/Roman: The 9 divines seem to be something like them I suppose. Norse: You have a race called the Nords with their own mythology, so I think this speaks for itself. I wonder if there is a way to figure out Egyptian mythologys...

Woah, the only things I could think of are the altars of worship with offerings, and the star stones. Also draugr crypts, but once they're in the crypt they're a broken vessel of the living. All that lost knowledge...
