Stormcloak or impieral

What is your opinion on what faction should own skyrim and which one is right.
Here is mine:
Ok so I think that the imperial should own skyrim because the nords believe skyrim is their homeland and that it belongs to them well that's wrong because they came to skyrim after the dwarves were there and after the snow elves and also if you think about it would be like Texas breaking off from America and trying to become its own country. Plus the main reason why they want to own skyrim is so they can worship talos and really all they have to do is just convince the other jarls to ban all dark elves from there holds and then they can't stop them from worshiping him and there is no need for war. Honestly the only bad thing about the skyrim be apart of the empire is that the dark elves capture nords and torture nords BUT only because they are STORMCLOAKS.

Ok so like i said put your thoughts below and tell me what your opinion is.

Personally, I prefer the stormcloaks. Yea they may be a little racist towards elves, but the elves kind of gave them a reason to. By invading skyrim, which is their homeland. I'm pretty sure anyone would talk crap about the people that invaded their country, banned worship of their greatest hero, and lead a tyrannical reign.

i have only picked the stormcloaks before, but i don't like how they destroy a city when they take over. do the imperials destroy the cities as they occupy them during the war?

Really? If you think about it, its split right down the middle. For the Stormcloaks its all about Talos. Now dont get me wrong if you took away my god id be frustrated too. But they have Eight other Gods! The Empire wasnt being selfish they had to sign the White-Gold Concordat or else, they'd be owned by the Mer Right now. Granite you cant just sign off a god with a Quill and Parchment. But i feel that both sides are just. Stormcloaks fight because the Thalmor took away Talos. Not the Emperor. The Empire is the ONLY thing holding the Aldmeri Dominion back and Ulfric knows this but he wants to fight. Not for the Empire but for Skyrim. The Empire on the other hand. They need Skyrim more than Skyrim needs Them. Because when the Thalmor come marching over that horizon for Round 2 and there is no Skyrim to help this time. Cyrodiil and High Rock are gone. Thats why a UNITED Empire is better than a Broken one. Ysgramor for christ's sake killed almost all the *bleep*en Snow Elfs! He was a Nord! The Empire Needs them. So, leaving on that Split 50/50.

I prefer the Stormcloaks because in most instances, I'm a sucker for rebellions, and I can see where they are coming from with the whole Talos thing, even though religion doesn't matter to me in the slightest so long as it's not forced down my throat like in some real life situations. Another factor to remember is: Hammerfell survived the Aldmeri Dominion (Or something along those lines) and is a free province, so who's to say Skyrim can't achieve liberation aswell? I'll admit Ulfric is a bit too bent on being High King to care for the future of Skyrim properly, which is where I guess the Imperials would have the right of it. The reason I don't support the Imperials is that the Aldmeri Dominion has pretty much made them their bitch and that could, or will, result in the Dominion taking over.
