I heard it was more the PS3 cant handle it and we just CBA to release it on PC. actually someone ported Dawnguard and Hearthfire to PS3 as a homebrew thing a while back, and most of the errors they came across were basically the game trying to find something that just straight up wasn't there (which was fixed by patches) basically there's some reason they were dragging their heels and I don't think it was necessarily technical difficulties lol also the exclusivity deal lasted for a month but they didn't say they'd release it WITHIN a month

Wouldn't too surprised if it had something to do with them not wanting to spent the resources fixing it if they didn't have to, or something behind the scenes and it was all just a BS cover-up excuse. Perhaps I didn't solidify my point quite enough. The quality of the combat is subject to opinion. I didn't play TES Arena until recently, but I grew up with Daggerfall and Morrowind, and to me, that combat has always just kinda worked. I don't think just because the game employs a certain perspective that its combat should be restricted to a specific type, which seems to be what you're getting at. It relied on different aspects, like stats and level as opposed to hit-boxes and distance. IMO, the world was more fully imagined than in the current TES games, which to me, tend to rely more on outright action than careful character creation and leveling. My point? You prefer the new entries in the series, I prefer the old. They're different, and while I don't care too much for Skyrim, none of them are actually bad, they all have their own merits. ------------------- I went to the place where every white face is an invitation to robbery.
