Elder Scrolls: Skyrim doesn't work

One question, and I Always ask this because someone always does it,: can your computer even run Skyrim?

Try going into documents>my games>skyrim and delete the preference folders, then try running the laucher so it can go back to default preferences. Unless of course you use the script extender, which I would recommend check for the update for that.

It might help to let us know what the error says too. Do you use the script extender?

SKSE also known as Skyrim Script Extender is best to use when multiple mods are present, and some mods require it to work properly.

Back to the launcher crash issue, check if your game has updated lately, sometimes something to fix issues causes more and it would be best to roll-back to a previous version.
Have you tried running the game with the .exe instead of the launcher? The regular executable (TESV.exe) should be in the same place you installed the game.
