i hate the spiders the most, just because theyre giant spiders. i dont like normal sized spiders, what makes them think i wanna look at an even creepier giant one? i dont know what it is with fantasy games nowadays and their giant spider fetish.

Yeah, at least in Skyrim the Frostbite Spiders actually die pretty easily. The RadRoaches take FOREVER to die.

Draugr? Pah! I laugh in the faces of Draugr. What really terrifies me are wisps. Not because they look scary, but when you see them, you know a wispmother is on her way to kick your arse. I remember the time I encountered one (wispmother) at level TWO! We (Faendal and I) managed to sneak by it. And this was on my MAGE, in pure DAYLIGHT!

the only times i ever get scared of these guys is when i have to fight the Death Lords and Death Overlords. They're frighteningly powerful! And they can use pretty powerful shouts (Death Overlords can use the full Unrelenting Force shout and throw the player across the room!)

Dragon Priests are also pretty tough

Neh. The most terrifying creature in-game would have to be the horkers. I'm worried that someday my character will be running from them, trip over a branch that watched up on the shore, and then be swallowed by their fleshy globs of fat and die of suffocation.

In all honesty I think that the Draugr are the mildest enemies of Skyrim in terms of inducing fear as well as combat ability. Hagravens are probably the most fearsome. But only the most gut-wrenching things are done by mer and men. If you scare easily, don't go to Windhelm at night. That place even gave me the chills.

Falmer are the most creepy. I used to think Dwemer ruins were the most unpleasant things in the game, then I did the Touching The Sky quest. Darkfall cave was disturbing, I almost had a heart attack when I went down the rapids and those spiders jump out. Then Darkfall passage was full of Falmer and Chorus hunters/reapers...it was horrible.

If you're scared, take a follower, maybe that'll help. Maybe use a bow so you don't have to get close to them. I was a bit scared of them first, but you get used to it. IMO they are better than the zombies from Oblivion, those were ugly as hell. The only thing that always freaks me out in Skyrim is when I see a chaurus. I hate them so much. Gosh, they are so disgusting.

I remember the first time I saw a draugr, it was in the neutral standing position before they're alerted. I was thinking to myself:
"Bet you that thing's gonna get up and move...Nah, it's fine..."
As soon as I turn around and take a few more steps to loot something, I hear the gravelly groan they make and whipped around to see it right in my face. I can say that draugr have made me jump, just that one time .

Recently, it was actually a black bear... partially because I wasn't expecting it at all, partially because there was no roar of caution or any sound except *thump thump thump* behind me.
Turned around: "amagahBEARface!"
