Meh, we didn't REALLY start screwing over the Native Americans until a number of years later. Manifest Destiny and all that.

Still, I agree that AC3 is a bit too pro-colonist. I mean they made comments when it was announced that it would present a more balanced view of the war, but all the adds come down pretty solidly on the Colonists' side.

I think the one that got me was the one that had America the Beautiful playing in the background. During the trailer the voice over says something along the lines of "Americans will be free men or slaves"



Now, I was born, raised, and educated in the US, and even I know that the British weren't trying to enslave us.

Still, I have to say I expected as much when they announced the setting. The Right wingers over here get pretty stuffy when people start talking about that particular war. Good luck selling a game state side that provided anything but a biases look at it.

*sigh*

Just bug's me since i do a history degree and all. It was only a dispute over taxes afterall. But of course any republican or far right wing american will say that the British were the evil overlords of doom

Well I suppose you really have to play the game to understand what is really happening. Its nothing really to do with the British, French and all of that. It just those guys are in your way and you have a target to get to, be they Red Coat, Blue Coat or a Great Big Bloody Bear.

The game is good, but you do need a horse I will say that, the maps are massive, Boston, New York, The Frontier. It is also much harder than the others, which I appreciate. People with muskets still terrify me. I do like to have The Last of the Mohican music playing in the background sometimes, just for fun.

Rent Dishonored and buy Borderlands they are both great games but dishonored is a bit um, IMO not worth the money when you play it through twice, at least thats what I did with it:|.
