	Log in to remove this advertisement Um... Everyone knows that with the Wii U coming out now that Sony and Microsoft are gonna release their next gen systems within the next 18 months or so. And from rumors they are both supposed to be based on relatively similar tech. In fact it may come down to which interface you want rather than the actual specs or programming language. Sony made their decisions about they programming and architecture and of course actual specs. Its the developer, in this case Beth, to develop their game to comform to the systems being used. If they didn't want to develop the game on PS3 then they simply should not have. Instead they take more then they can chew by not developing for machine properly. That extra 256mb of Ram (actually less so but for arguments sake) is whats killing the game? really? no, Bethesda simply tried to do what most developers do, they try porting it using the same techniques that they use on PC and 360. those techniques simply do not work as well. Instead of developing it properly to use the 7! cell processors they keep trying to offload all the grunt work to Ram. I'm not saying Bethesda is being lazy as game development on this scale is quite strenuous for code monkeys but I'm pretty sure that they, like anyone else, cut corners where possible and that is the reason why we are even arguing. Look at Uncharted or MGS4 or Heavy Rain. They do it spectacularly(and coincidentally correctly) I appreciate Beth having business sense and fortitude to actually try to give it to PS3 players but I would rather not have bought it for that system if I had known it would not get any DLC AND get all fixes late... In this fast paced videogame industry, that extra polish is usually not there, but in the same age where DLC is the norm to exempt a system after promising that they get DLC too is just false advertising. ------------------- Rest in peace Neil Armstrong

	Unfortunately many people are touchy about the console wars. For almost no reason other than exclusives, and the fact that they simply like whichever system. PC gamers are elitist cause unless your running at 120 fps, or you don't have access to mods or what have you. And they aren't wrong at least mostly. They also spend much more money more often to accommodate this advanced gaming. Xbox has a habit of being more accessible with mostly comparable specs as a middle line PC and the PS3. PS3 for its part somehow garners a surprising mix of 3rd and 1st party devs. I mentioned Heavy Rain, Uncharted and MGS, but then we also have games like Flow, Flower, Journey, and a plethora of other games. Wii is dominating but thats because most of their players are 5-12 or 45+ and thats a fairly ignored market. In the end its gonna come down to which OS and exclusives you want during the next gen. Hearthfire is merely a UI DLC thats adds a bare minimum of story. Dragonborn seems to be the only thing that actually has to do with much of the lore Skyrim gave us... And even then, since we know nothing about it aside for a few facts, you main story is not harmed or helped by that DLC thus far. So while fans are angry you still have to keep in mind that they don't need to do anything, sadly. the fact that they at least say they are is a godsend. quote Monkey Magic One thing that really annoys me is I went onto the official site and all I could find was information on new releases such as Dragonborn.
