	They're meant to be similar to Bretons, not exactly Bretons. To be fair though Spoiler: Ulfric's fine killing Rikke even though she's a nord . In the real world we're the same race yet we all kill each other. I think there should be more of a mention depending on your race when fighting Forsworn, so if you're a Breton they may say 'You betray your own kind!' or something like that. ------------------- MH3 veteran, ever need help with deviljho just ask. 	A better question would be, Spoiler:details about forsworn related quest Why do they still attack you even after you went to the worst prison in the whole country for them, killed for them, and greatly assisted in their leader's escape? But then, it's a game, and games have their limitations

	On a humorous note, I followed all those that escaped with my character for a while into the hills. Most of them, including the leader, were killed by creatures before they got to wherever they were trying to go, despite my attempts to protect them, and at some point after having pursued them for a while out of curiousity, they even began to attack me!

Why would they spread the word? They owe you nothing. Sure, you helped them, they let you live, debt paid imo. Not to mention, making all Forsworn nonhostile would ruin a lot of dungeons. :c But it would open up some cool RP opportunities. I should link something... Clicky Go there, it's an RP blog, but the character himself is a Forsworn Reachman. It's where I learned about them, well, learned some basics before reading up on them myself. She also wrote her English 2 final on Bretons, lol. It's amazing. Clicky Anyways, the Forsworn owe you nothing since you are just now helping them for their cause, which, like you said, they've lost sight of sadly. I'm sure if you would have prevented the theft of their homeland, or possibly helped take it back, they'd be friendly. And would also begin to merge back into society. 	I'm wondering the same thing. I sympathize with them, and I helped their leader escape from the mine prison, but they attack me on sight whenever I pass by one of their strongholds. Doesn't make sense. --Legalize lollygagging!-- Edit: Nov 11, 12 1:46pm

Bretons and Reachmen share blood but they have distinct societies and national identities. It's kinda like asking why the IRA would attack other Irish people or something. There's more to it than blood. There's thousands of years of conflict between the Reach Natives and the surrounding people in Skyrim and High Rock. They have no true allies.
