*SPOILERS* The Blades and Paarthurnax

Kill him. More quests are available when u join blades after u kill him. Nothing happens when u dont kill him. Greybeards will just tell u shout locations. But google is a better source. So just kill him

I hate the Blades, and i love Paarthurnax. There's no way i would kill such an awesome character just to be bossed around by a bunch of incompetent "dragon hunters".

Plus, from what i read, there's no real reason why i should join them. The only benefits are that you get sent on quests to kill Dragons with the help of the Blades, and taking the Blades' armor/weapons and Dragonsbane won't be counted as stealing (which isn't all that big anyway).

Well, I just did it. I really felt bad after it, seeing him with his mouth open and turning to bones like any other dragon. But after talking to Odaviing after the epilogue, I felt justified. Odaviing wondered if Alduin's rule is worse than Paarthurnax's tyranny. It seems Parth would force the Way of the Voice on all dragons, which may not be so bad, but dragons are intelligent creatures and should have a choice. Alduin did not force his rule on the dragons, many just joined him. Besides, Parth betrayed Alduin, and although it was for the better, it still shows he has it in him to betray allies. He can just as easily betray us. He even says himself that all dragons are compelled to be powerful and take over, and that you should not trust a dragon, except for himself, conveniently. He was quite helpful, but it had to be done.

Plus, I still got Odaviing who seems pretty sweet.

I've can never bring myself to kill Paarthurnax, not even in games with my most evil character, I just can't, I once watched a video of Paart getting killed, and it was really sad, he's not even battle-worthy, he won't attack until he has like half of his health bar, and he's extremely weak to attacks, watching that battle actually almost made me cry, I know it's stupid, since it's just a game, but that's what Beth games do to me
