It's the Vendor's Inventory for the Kajit Caravan, so randomly generated, and level dependent. Pretty much what you would expect of the Kajit Caravan, general goods, skooma, moon sugar, possibly hist sap...

Transmute Ores, and enchanting Jewelry is a lot more lucrative with a slightly different skill set. (Alteration, Smith, and Enchant.) About the fastest pure gold grind I've figured out, but when the mines run dry, so do you until they respawn. Fortunately, the transmute spell allows you to mine Iron, Silver, and Gold to make the latter out of (not to mention random ores lying around) so it lasts much longer. Once you set up a good tour de skyrim, with all the grinding, and fast travel, it can be sustained, but slowly. (Only making a few items each mining trip, or sweeping them all, and spending a couple days crafting.) Get the Black Star, and either Burning Souls, or the MoMB to keep yourself in high quality souls, and mug bandits for them. Also, hunt down some high value enchants like Waterbreathing.

It's quicker to just purchase Iron Ores IMO....in just Whiterun you can purchase up to a dozen Iron Ores every day. After a week [in-game] of buying ores you can have up to 100. Once your speech is high enough and you have a Necklace of Haggling (Masque of Clavicus Vile helps a ton, as well) you can purchase Silver Ores for ~16.

Easily the best way to make money in Skyrim. Mine/Buy Ores -> Transmute -> Smith Jewelry -> Enchant Jewelry -> $$$

Good way to raise your Alteration skill as with 80ish Iron Ores you can level Alteration about 3 times. If you have a solid enchantment then your Enchanting skill can skyrocket....only problem is running out of soul gems. Soul trap or a weapon enchanted with soul trap is the way to go, buy as many empty [and filled] soul gems as you can get.



Otherwise my only other way to make money is to go through a dungeon and clear every single item out of it. Make sure you have a horse at the exit so you can fast travel back to a city, and Whirlwind Sprint helps out a ton. If you can enchant some fortify carry weight apparel that doesn't hurt either so you can move at full speed longer. If you have the soul gems then enchant as many pieces as you can and after just a few good sized dungeons you will have plenty of money.

Wifes are a good source of money if your are patient. There money regenerates every 24HRS, so a good moneymaker.

Giants. Dragons. Bandits. These are a few moneymakers for you Shoot&Loot type of people.

Would someone mind explaining these three exploits, apart from the Dawnstar One. I am unaware of loads of glitches in Skyrim.
