Is Skyrim on the PC worth it?

It depends on you. If you prefer a keyboard and mouse, get it. You could also get a controller for the PC and use that, so really it's the best of both worlds.

Depends on your PC...if you have one that is recently upgraded (between 1 month to 3 years) then you shouldn't have issues

The game itself is exactly the same as the console version except you can use user made mods. As mentioned, it depends on whether you like to use a controller or keyboard and mouse (Though you can use both on the PC)

Personally I prefer the PC when playing Elder Scrolls games

I remember the Waking Nightmare quest. He had the key but wouldn't open the door which meant I could progress the quest, so I had to turn of clipping and walk through the door myself so he would continue.

Plus Skyrim in its glorified HDness.

So it resets after 6mb? Really!? That sucks. But do you need a steam account? It says for the Creation Kit that I do. Let me rephrase that, do I need a steam account to be able to post mods and such. Does having an account make the game more enjoyable? But for those of you who have played both console and PC, which do you think is easier? I've only ever played two TES games on PC and it's somewhat easy, though a bit sluggish.

No, what i mean is: Once your save reaches 6MB on the X360/PS3 the game lags really f**ing hard, INCREDIBLY HARD AS FCKING HELL CRAP. forcing you to start anew. And, you could just download it, but the advantage is that you won't get the hassle of installation from Skyrim Nexus. Instead, you DL directly from steam. And you will be prompted to install steam and create an account, then, the next time you attempt to install Skyrim, you will install the game itself. Obviously, Steam account is required to upload, but not enjoy. Steam isn't an online game, anyway, so no need for chatting n' such. Oh, and i've played TESV on my friend's PS3, and Skyrim is a helluvalot easier AND FUN on the PC, having a hard time getting daedric hearts? no problem! player.additem **item id** **no. of items you want to receive** Ex: player.additem 3ada3 5 gives you 5 dragon scales. BUT. If you are an anti-cheat nazi, then you can use the console to spawn NPCs( including monstaz)consult the elderscrolls.wiki for NPC ids. Example: Typing 'player.placeatme 1068fe 5' in the console will spawn 5 bandits at your location, so the console can be used to create Legion vs. Stormcloaks, etc.

Sorry for da long post, but to summarize: It's better in the PC.

EDIT: AND, the framerate is better on the PC, if your graphics card meets the requirements and is GTX

Not to be a wet blanket here, but why use console cheats to add Daedra Hearts, and Dragonscales instead of Deadric Weapons, and Dragon Armor? I mean, you're cheating to avoid questing so you can grind more? Not saying it's wrong, I just don't understand it. I mean, you could have anything, so you use it to generate crafting materials? I've used it once to get a Daedra Heart for The Cursed Tribe, but you must really like crafting. Seriously, you can just advskill enchanting up to 100, and skip right ahead to tempering everything to flawless. No need to spend half the game at the forge. If you're going to cheat, might as well do it effectively.

But i never use console commands till' i am really pissed at finding stuff like daedric hearts but now i know where so i never use item codes nowadays, i grind all the way up to 100. And it's even more fun because i go out and harvest leather stead' of wasting my precious gold

EDIT: Lol, i think i read it wrong . Anyway, i HATE alchemy, so i spawn freaking enchanter's elixir's but i NEVER advpcskill enchanting, i grind. I only incpcs Smithing, for some reason..If i need to craft my mod items which are usually placed in Daedric tier...

Is Steam free? I know the Creation Kit is, but only if you have a Steam account (decent marketing there). And I'm not 100% as nerdy as some other people, or as good with acronyms, but what does GTX mean?
