Dragons don't start attacking (they also cannot be found at Dragon Roosts) until you finish a couple Main Quests in Whiterun.

I will point out that the Big Bad in Skyrim is a Dragon, while his Dragons are Nahkriin, and Tzun (In TES universe, Big Bad Al is actually The Dragon for Akatosh.) He also Turns Red, and pulls a Disk 1 Boss Fight.

I could do this all day and I'm sure you can, the only problem I have when I see you post a trope, is when it sticks out so much. I seriously wouldn't have had a problem with you mentioning Level Grinding, because for some reason it doesn't stand out so much. Considering that Dovahkiin, all the follower characters and several NPCs are all Badass right from the start.

Are you sure he's not just a Beef Gate?
At this point in the game you should be able to beat anything, obviously, but the in game story points to him being the guardian of... The Very Definitely Final Dungeon... And he mentions something about you having to fight him in order to prove yourself worthy, of being allowed to enter.

If you play the game normally, or don't focus on optimization 100% of the time, the main quest will trick you into completing it and she is tough at that point, even with all the people around helping you.


As for that title, that's me. You're not supposed to have fun playing the game normally, you're supposed to have fun playing your way. My way is to make the most overpowered character possible, then crushing all resistance. Anyone who talks about something being hard obviously isn't playing it right.
