where are the khajiit towns located at in skyrim

first nearly three weeks ago in real time i came across an actual village. not like the encampment outside of whiterun but an medium sized village.

it was when i was around level 13 and i got caught stealing and had to hightail it out of town because they would not stop attacking me even when i sheathed my weapon. after fast traveling i realised i never read the name of the town.

anyone know the place im talking about. i do remember there was some kind of shrine somewhat near bye and a giant camp with a mammoth symbol nearby cause when i was running away i nearly got killed by a giant and mammoth

sounds cool but maybe u just stumbled on a camp for a shrine or one of their caravans. or did it have real houses?/they weren't bandits

no i cant tell the details it was a while ago but i know they werent bandits and there were buildings it was like the orc camp by riften.

so youre talking about a town of nothing but Khajit? cause ive also never heard of such a thing. they have a few camps with a handful of them but nothing like an entire town or village of them. it could be their roaming trade caravans because they wander all over Skyrim.

well i dont think there were more than 7 of them there so i guess it was probably a caravan but it wasnt near any holds
