	Log in to remove this sponsored message So having completed most of the main storyline, I realize that my man Todd Howard stole the entire main storyline from Greek mythology. So, you have Paarthurnax, a dragon, and he teaches humans how to shout. ...That's obviously an allegory to Prometheus teaching humans how to make fire. Then you have a battle between the dragons and humans, with Paarthurnax helping the humans. ...Battle of the Titans verse gods verse humans, with Prometheus helping humans and then he gets chained to to the mountain and have the eagle eat his liver out every day. She gave them the ability to speak the language of the dragons. And Akatosh embraced her attempts to save humanity by giving his blood to St. Alessia[after they made a pact to keep Daedra out of the mortal realm] who in turn received the Red Diamond found inside the Amulet of Kings which is used to light the Dragonfires. And so, Akatosh's blood spread on through man from Emperor to Empress and so on until Martin, the final Dragonborn gave his life to stop Mehrunes Dagon. BUT at some point in Martin's life as a priest of Akatosh in Kvatch, he had to of had an affair or had a child with a woman who then sent the child off which results in the Dragonborn appearing 200 years of so later in Skyrim..[this is my guess] ------------------- I am a monument to all of your sins..

	I wouldn't really call it a theft of ideas since several games out there have similar references, but I would call it more of a background or base to expand on.

	Animatrix your theory is sound, except that how could Martins ancestor be a Khajiit? Or Argonian? Or any form of Elf for that matter? Back on-topic, i'd be impressed if Bethesda came up with a completely original storyline as its all been done before somewhere along the lines.

So at some point in time a human/elf screwed an Argonian/Khajiit[if your Dragonborn was that race, of course]. And the races of TES aren't like our own in reality, there wouldn't be deformities or messed up looking creatures because the races of Nirn are made in the images of the Divines. The resulted child of interracial breeding would take specific genes from the mother and the father, mainly taking appearance dominated genes from one main partner. So the baby could come out Argonian or Redguard, not a mix of both, BUT the Redguard could take on the resist disease and poison traits since those aren't appearance dominated more so, internally dominated. This concept was most likely adapted to explain why the player can choose a Khajiit or Argonian to play as. ------------------- I am a monument to all of your sins..

Unless something in the game itself says otherwise about that possibility. And I've gotten more of a Norse vibe from Skyrim too instead of a Greek one. This is also a probable case, but realistically Dragonblood couldn't be passed down without actually having it in your bloodline unless Akatosh himself blessed specific children when they were being birthed or became of age. After Alessia became Empress, every single Tamrielic ruler was Dragonborn. 	Wait a second. I know this was part of the prophecy and all but, listen. The Champion of Cyrodiil was a normal person. They weren't blessed by the gods or chosen, but they followed through with what Uriel told him/her and helped Martin seal the gates. ------------------- It certainly is a rarity that my signatures are clever at all, hehehe.

The only officially playable Dragonborn is in Skyrim.. And EACH hero was chosen, they were destined to one day do what they were created to do. [Stop Dagon, Close the Oblivion Gates, Conquer the Arena and acquire the Totem etc.] Uriel Septim saw the Champion of Cyrodiil in his dreams, he says this when he first sees you in the prison cell that the secret door is located in. He states that the Gods blessed him with this dream so that he would remember your face on that day and release you to carry out your bidding for the Gods. Each Hero in each TES game[besides the Battlespire and Redguard spin-off games] has ushered in the next event leading up to Alduin's return.. it was predetermined and written in the Elder Scrolls themselves. ------------------- I am a monument to all of your sins..

	Right, I know that, but the prophecy was never completed, Alduin was never truly defeated by the Dragonborn, only cast away in time like the Ancient Tounges did. So all that lead to the Alduin's Return, but he was never really defeated. What now? More prophetic events that will lead to the second return? Or will the next elder scroll be written, and another final event in another prophecy take place? ------------------- It certainly is a rarity that my signatures are clever at all, hehehe.
