	Log in to remove this sponsored message So I'm trying to get flawless amethysts for an objective in Riften but for the life of me I can't find any! I went to Darklight Tower because I heard that there were two there but I couldn't find them at all. I swear I checked every room an every item you can interact with. I was hoping if any of you knew where I could find just one, that is all I need, any help would be greatly appreciated.

	I remember getting some from a random pedestal/monument in the middle of nowhere west northwest of Whiterun. Just go along the valley close to the mountains on the north. Im not a good navigator but I hope this helps. -------------------

	Have you tried visiting the various vendors in each hold? Blacksmithing vendors often have gemstones for sale. There are a few clothiers around which also sell the occasional gemstone. Lastly, gemstones can be found rarely in silver and gold veins, if you fancy yourself a miner. 	Get prowlers profit and u get thousands. Every chest you open you get 4-5 gems, at least 1 will be flawless. Collect all 24 unsual gems for prowlers. BTW the reward for this quest sux and dont want to much time trading 3 Flawless Amethists for a strength potion or whatever junk you get from it.

	I found two doing the shipwrecking "Lights Out" quest. Talk to Jaree-ra in Solitude. He hangs out around the shops. You'll also get a sweet Elven greatsword at the end of this quest, though that boss is a real bear... pick most of them off with archery if you can. And search freaking everything. The shipwreck is where the real treasure is. The key is on the captain who has the greatsword, though I just picked it...
