Anyone playing as an imperial?

Hi,

I am at character creation and can't decide whether to be Nord or Imperial.

I would want to be imperial but don't want to be a short guy among giant nords... is there any noticeable difference?

also what is the imperial accent??

I spend so much time at character creation when starting new games like this and once you've chosen theres no going back

It depends how you want to play? Nords are good melee characters, while Imperials make good battle mages.

i play an imperial and i pray the day comes when we have an arena for PVP so i can merk you all with my wussy imperial.

when youre surrounded by corpses you look much taller.

I hav an imperial for roleplaying. That's it.

it says pretty explicitly in the manual and guide that any character can be any class... the racial benefits (excluding the power) are only starting advantages. so provided one is willing to work harder in the early levels a Kahjit could be just a powerful a mage as an altmer et cetera. the racial powers are the only thing i would consider seriously if youre choosing a race for performance only, and after browsing the racial powers i found none of them to really make or break any class... every racial power can be simulated with a potion or spell.

If you like going up and beating the shit out of other chars with weapons, and want their fear ability, choose nord. If you like charming others and a cross of warrior and thief, chose imperial. That is based off of the start I think.

Orc has best racial power. Orc is the master race. Orcs racial power is the best. 2x damage dealt and 1/2 damage received. Very useful in early levels and even later levels.

I'd make an orc but I hate being a character with different skin color. T_T

Can't you change their skin color/tone?
