Is anybody else bored of Skyrim? :( - Page 10

Well make a new character anf try a different style of playing?

OH MY GOD, it finally happened to me! I... I'm bored of Skyrim... after almost playing it for a year... I've finally lost interest! D:

I think this actually happened in great part thanks to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, I played two playthroughs of like 80 hours each, and upon completing everything on my last one, I decided that it was enough, and didn't feel like starting a new game there, then, decided to go back to Skyrim today, and it just felt... well, not good, sure, KoA pales in comparison to Skyrim's outstanding lore and extensive sidequesting, but what I didn't like in Skyrim this time in contrast with KoA, was Skyrim's gameplay, it just felt too stiff compared to Amalur's I mean, in Skyrim my character is locked facing front while in KoA my character can turn around in any direction and attack, also, the shortcut menu in Skyrim seems to me even more tedious than ever, in KoA, I could change between weapons with the use of a button, and use magic or abilities in combination of other buttons, in Skyrim, it seems a bit dumb that the gameplay pauses while you switch weapons/spells, not even the Fallout games were like that.

But well, I don't know, maybe this is just a phase and hopefully I'll be back to Skyrim by the next DLC, but I just don't feel like playing it anymore, nor KoA, maybe... maybe I might as well start looking for a job again, but I don't wanna get so ahead of myself xD

I wish I could get bored of Skyrim. Would make not procrastinating on academia-related things so much easier.

Yea, sometimes trying new builds, upping the difficulty, role-playing, & whatever else isn't enough to keep me interested when I've really worn out the content. I may have some promising, new approaches to try out, but when I make that new character and begin some quests I realize "I don't wanna do this crap again." So I'll take a break and come back to it later. I guess I need to be in the right mood for it.

battousai Awwww..well, i am starting to lose interest again. Partly because of Darksiders 2. Plenty of demons to kill...

Just completed the Dawnstar expansion (less than a week after I got the expansion). Bit annoyed at the house creation in Hearthfire. If I built a house, I'd atleast like to have all the options for the wings instead of having to pick one.

I'd be tempted to try my hand at the Creation Kit, but I just can't be that bothered TBH... that and the fact that if I create new weapons and armour I'd want to be able to use my own models and I can't find any info anywhere about modelling for it.
