But how can you compensate for fighting a dragon in the day or being ambushed by bandits on the road? Unless you fast travel everywhere, which doesn't quite appeal to me - I prefer some manual travel mixed in.

	Make sure you don't go past stage 2 and you're fine. Illusion is the best thing in the game, so if you aren't up to fight multiple people, frenzy them. If you're too weak to fight a dragon, turn invisible. ------------------- really cool free game

	Yeah i know all about the awesome powers of illusion as i'm playing a stealth illusionist at the moment. But i rely heavily on my bow and not being able to slow time/zoom in the daylight kinda sucks. I don't want to have to just avoid my foes... Plus if you're travelling everywhere on foot you'll just run out of stamina from sprinting then have to jog the rest of the way like a fag... On the other hand sprinting everywhere in wolf form may finally convince me to abandon fast travelling for good because of the shear speed and awesomeness of that form of travel...

I haven't tried either one yet, but so far werewolf is sounding wicked. I think if you are at stage 3 or below and once you feed it brings it back down to stage one. But I'm not sure about that.

	firestorm79 One of Hircine's Totem's grants your LB ability to summon two wolves that fight for you instead of making everything run away. I don't know where it is or how to get it, but I know it exists, lol. -------------------

	They're both pretty useless, unfortunately. Werewolf is useful until you get good armor and weapons (which, if you do it intelligently by leveling up smithing/enchanting, should be pretty quickly). Vampires are even worse off, because they nerfed the vampires from Oblivion. In Oblivion it was useful to be a vampire because it gave you outstanding strength and skill bonuses. Basically, it made you intrinsically stronger, which was useful for almost all characters. The only reason I would ever be either one is for the resist disease perk, which is only a very slight benefit but makes for a more carefree style of gameplay. (You don't have to worry about catching diseases, and can sell all your disease potions) So, with that logic, werewolf is better because there are no cons besides the resting bonus, which is useless anyway. ------------------- A tactical, intellectual FPS that's developed by the U.S. Army and is free to play: Check out America's Army 3.
