And that is exactly my point. The amount of frames that it takes to complete the bash is the same in slow and fast motion. Slowing it down only makes it easier to pull off; it doesn't actually give you a frame advantage of any kind and therefore doesn't actually do anything. Thus, it is pointless.

Except that your reaction time is significantly reduced. It's much easier to react to when you can see it coming the second it begins, as opposed to it being too late after a slow reaction.

I agree about the pressure plates. i might be able to walk straight over them, but my companion (3 steps behind) is in the perfect position to land me with a whole mess of spikes/blades/log to the face.

i spend plenty of time guiding my friend round.

doing a test run on the trap lets you predict where to stand if you can't get your buddy round safely. shoot an arrow at the plate and let it do it's stuff. This has worked just fine, until a dwarven ballista got me no matter where i stood!

i think half the fun of tomb raiding is picking round the traps though. that includes sticking an arrow in a sleeping zombie before it wakes! take THAT groany!!

Not usually. The only one I've had take a lot of health off me is the massive door with spikes on it.

I have stepped on a couple magic plates that explode and kill me instantly. However, there's only been two of those in my 35 hours of play.

All speech perks are useless IMO. Just forge your own crap. What waste gold.

Although as a Mage, I want to max most of the trees. I also want to put points in enchanting, but I can't get myself to put points in it.

I'm trying it out as my 5th Perk set. As it is, I haven't been able to steal anything without them noticing (even with a 15% bonus).

There are a few handy skills in there other than pickpocketing chances:

Placing poison in pockets (easy way to kill)

+100 carry capacity

Steal equipped items (do this and your enemy won't be able to do anything.

Not to mention the other incredibly useful perks:

Quick Hands
Lockpicking: 40
Able to pick locks without being noticed.
(Getting into houses in broad daylight or when those annoying guards always seem to be right there behind you.)

Wax Key
Lockpicking: 50
Automatically gives you a copy of a picked lock's key if it has one.
(Getting into a house at night. Every night, despite having already been picked, doors are relocked. No more fiddling with the lock if you use this. One time is all you need.Undeniably helpful if you take the vampire path.)

Treasure Hunter Lockpicking: 70
50% greater chance of finding special treasure.
(Simply put: Who doesn't love shiny things.)

Locksmith
Lockpicking: 80
Pick starts close to the lock opening position.
(With this, opening up to an adept locked object, at my lockpicking level, requires no labor at all. I just turn the lock and it works.)

I think the first 5 perks in speech can help get a nice profit to be fair.

It might be helpful early on but when you get to a later stage in the game (when you can make more than enough anyway) it's probably a waste of 5 perks.
