can you make arrows - Page 5

I was pretty dumbfounded when I found out that you can't make arrows. Seems pretty silly if you ask me..

And, I don't see this EVER being added or patched into the game, I wouldn't want them to waste time adding it in anyways.

Well, if you can make a full set of any armor plus a shield and weapon, I think you'd be able to pour some metal into a mold and produce some arrowheads, then strap them to a stick.

The Fletcher, is the only shop in Skyrim that purely sells only Bows and Arrows and some other general goods. The Drunken Huntsman is more of a light armor-type shop as opposed to all the heavy armor shops in Whiterun, but it does sell bows and arrows but not nearly as much as The Fletcher.

There are mods for that. And for making magical staves.

I'd be down with making scrolls. (In fact, I've said as much in a different thread.) An Enchanting Perk might be just the ticket. Unfortunately, Skyrim separated enchanting from your spellbook, so you don't need to know the spell to get the effect. I guess this frees up the spell list, so it's not bloated by all the Fortify Skill spells you'd need to magic up your armor, but I can't help but miss the old enchanting, and spell crafting from previous titles. I probably wouldn't bother with Staves as much, because most of the ones I keep have unique effects you can't cast. I just use scrolls to cast spells from scolls I don't have any experience in, anyway. So far, my favorite is Guardian Circle, which is handy against DPs, and other high level Undead fights, especially rooms which are filled with high level Draugr. My next favorites have to be J'zargo's Experimental Flame Cloaks, which are a blast in rooms likeat.

Super late but, my 391 Kitty Druid > Both you scrubs.

Anyway, I think it'd be cool if they added a DLC or similar to let you just craft w/e you want to ^^ Arrows, cups, chairs, you name it Maybe in the next one...

i used console commands to get 100 smithing full dragon scale armour deadaric bow 2 deadric swords and 5k glass arrows

Do be quiet, nobody is impressed that you have all of that, when you got it by using a few handfuls of keystrokes to get it.

to be honest i was never really bragging bout any of it jus stating that if you want decent items then jus use a bit of brain power and a few key strokes and they can be yours.

the most of game is grinding anyway if thats not mining the ores to smith or grinding the gold for mats from the sellers. ive never been much of grinder i can get on now start playing the game and not have to worry bout my armour and wepons.and not have to spend ages hunting for scraps of metal and gold

Whiterun: 5000 gold; 6800 with upgrades
Riften: 8000 gold; about 12000 with upgrades
Markarth: 8000 gold; about 13200 with upgrades
Solitude: 25000 gold; 32800 with upgrades
