Try to, whenever possible, purchase the five ranks of training you can get in your abilities each level before you level up.

This is one of the rare RPGs where you can effectively just purchase experience. It can get expensive, but can save a ton of time, especially on higher ranked abilities you have. The higher the rank, the more slowly it levels. Skills like archery and destruction become very arduous to max out.

If there are 70 levels in the game, thats 350 ranks of abilities that can be purchased. Enough to effectively master around 4 abilities just through training if they started at around 20, and close to half of another.

It adds up. Trying to find the trainers, now thats another story. With the game being this new, not all the locations and ranks of them all are known just yet. I usually make a point not to level until Ive purchased my 5 ranks of training.
